This coming month of April 2018, Berjaya Times Square Hotel is delighted to bring you the fine taste of Sri Lankan cuisine featuring a gastronomical journey of scrumptious Sri Lanka delicacies focusing on their fresh ocean delights of their famous Sri Lankan Crabs.

Sri Lankan cuisine has been influenced by foreign traders from neighbouring countries who brought in new food items as well as their cultural influences which helped shape Sri Lankan cuisine. India, Indonesia and Dutch cuisines are most evident in shaping the taste and ingredients of their dish.

Berjaya Times Square Hotel Kuala Lumpur has brought in two distinguished chefs from Berjaya Hotel Colombo to showcase exceptionally delicious authentic Sri Lankan cuisine to delight the palate of Malaysian in this month of April 2018.    

The hotel is honoured that the Sri Lankan High Commissioner A.J.M. Muzammil has given their support for this food festival. "In conjunction with the Sri Lankan Seafood Festival, we hope that more Malaysians will be able to appreciate and enjoy Sri Lankan culture and food. Together, we look forward to building a strong friendship between both countries," said the Sri Lankan High Commissioner.

This exceptional culinary experience of SRI LANKAN SEAFOOD FESTIVAL will showcase renowned Sri Lankan Chef J.M.D.K. Jayawardhana & Chef H.L.M Hettiarachchi's take on fine Sri Lankan cuisine.

For this Sri Lankan Seafood Festival, diners will also have the opportunity to experience Sri Lankan tea, namely from the well-known Sri Lankan family tea company, Dilmah. Garden fresh, unblended tea is the hallmark of Dilmah offering tea-drinkers a unique taste of unblended Ceylon Tea.

The food festival is available throughout the month of April starting on 2 April to 30 April 2018 at Big Apple Restaurant located at Level 14 of the hotel.

Sri Lankan Seafood Festival is priced at RM 98Nett/adult, RM 61Nett/Senior citizen & RM 41Nett/child.
